The Very Long and Narrow A - Z Spelling Bee
A book i created to house my character, it was based on very long words taken from a variety of languages and was inspired by Walt Disney's, Sword in the Stone. I found that there use of language in all there films took me back to my early childhood. I wanted readers to be reminded slightly by this and also to be amused and maybe informed of a new word they'd never heard. The book was made to appeal to any age group; both interesting to kids and adults!

Safe Sex Campaign
Trying to prompt people to practise safe sex, without been too up front. Basically trying to amuse the viewer or gain their interest to get an idea across.

Experiment 3!
I had a full page of random paint spills and blodges made from when i was mixing paints and trying different colour out on paper. I attacked the page with a pen knife and created a few cut outs.
Experiment 1!
Experimenting with random paint; turning random paint blodges and spills into illustrations.
Stamp Hand!
Injecting a little bit of colour into the stamp book i created. Stamps can be used to created interesting illustrations and i am currently making up my own stamps as a kind of signature for all my work.

It was also important to consider shapes when creating a character representative of a 1930's comic book.

Trying out different use of line. I created a quick artists book using different pens such as permanent marker and a variety of different sized artist pens.

Electromagneticism!
I am extremely interested in "spiffing good" 1930's comic books. I have tried to create a character that would fit into this era, I have called him war-time willy.
